4/21/11 Update: One last look before the Decals

8 days....Ahhh heck, we are almost done!!!
4/22/11 Update: The decals are here!

Now I just need some time to put them on.
We have a charity car show Saturday and moving the
Son
and
family on Sunday. :) :)
7 days until the Show!
4/23/11Update: Shakin and Bakin.
Today the bike was taken out for a couple of shake down runs including
a good long 15 mile ride
at 45 to 55 mph. All the systems worked as
designed. The only notable item was the front of
the fairing bounced
a little more than I like due to the recently installed headlight
assembly
and
its extra weight. I think a small brace will remedy that issue. The bike
was then rolled out for
another round of baking in the sun before the decals
are installed. I am soooo tempted to ride
it to work, but really need to
concentrate on a test I have coming up this week.
Education first!
6 days until the show!
Done!!! (Are they ever really done?)
Today the bike made the last of the shakedown runs with the
new
fairing
brace and controller changes all working perfectly.
The decals were installed and now I am getting the few bubbles out of them.

We want to thank all the people/friends from Elmoto.net, Endless-Sphere,
Motenergy and Airtech-Streamling for all the help on this cool project.
5 days until the show!
The SHOW!!!
We left early and had a great breakfast at Crackerbarrel.

The crowds were great!

The cars were great!

The weather was great!

The Bikes were also great!

We were surrounded by ICE vehicles as far as the eye could see.

We took second place in the custom motorcycle division!
A full race drag bike who were old race friends of ours
won
the motorcycle group.
It was a well deserved
win
and a fun time was had by all!!!

After all of that, Tammy was all of a sudden
interested in wanting to ride the bike?????
Now.... Time to ride!!
